An International Securities Identification Number (“ISIN”) uniquely identifies a security for trading and settlement.

The London Stock Exchange (“LSE”) is the UK representative of the Association of National Numbering Agencies (“ANNA”), and allocates UK ISINs.

To enable the Company and its UK share registrar, Capita Asset Services (“Capita”), to comply with UK company law and for Capita to be able to function in its full capacity as a share registrar, the Company’s shares need to be identified with a UK ISIN issued by the LSE.

The Company submitted its application to the LSE and has been assigned the UK ISIN GB00BYN5BY03.

Trading and settlement systems at Euronext and Euroclear will be updated to use the new ISIN with effect from Monday 23 May 2016.  Therefore, from that date, the Company’s shares will be traded and settled under ISIN code GB00BYN5BY03, which will replace the current French issued ISIN of FR0004152221.

There is no action required by shareholders as a result of this change, but transfers of the Company’s shares will now automatically be subject to UK Stamp Duty rules.  More information about UK Stamp Duty on shares can be found at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/stamp-duty-reserve-tax-the-basics.
